This day began with a significant amount of fog. We didn’t realize the foggy conditions until we were underway. So we went slowly and tried to stay warm while watching out for other boats. Eventually the fog burned off and we enjoyed another day on the Tenn-Tom. We stayed at Aqua Yacht Marina in Luca. It was a giant Marina with covered slips but not much to do.
We expected to be able to leave early as is our custom, but instead we woke to find a thick layer of fog had settled over the Marina. So we waited. It took almost two hours for the fog to clear. once we were underway we enjoyed another beautiful travel day on the River. We pulled into Clifton just before sunset. We finally got to some better weather so we departed early and headed down the Tennessee River. We experienced fog for the first time in a while, which meant we had to wait a little later than we wanted before leaving in the morning.
