We expected to be able to leave early as is our custom, but instead we woke to find a thick layer of fog had settled over the Marina. So we waited. It took almost two hours for the fog to clear.

once we were underway we enjoyed another beautiful travel day on the River.

We pulled into Clifton just before sunset. This turned out to be an awesome place to stay. The owners were exceptionally helpful, and their little restaurant had one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time.
